Mojo? Is that you? Come back...

Oh goodness. For someone who has mainly spent the last week holed up in a room with 4od and yarn to entertain her, I have ridiculously little knitting to show for it. I have some Debbie Bliss Cathay which, as I mentioned, I was trying to design a jumper with. I started designing after stuffing up attempts at no less than three other jumpers.

Three balls into my own design, which seemed to be going pretty well, I held up my work to admire it an realised that ball two of three is from a different dye lot to the rest. I was so sure that I checked the dye lots in the shop, but clearly not. I don't think the yarn likes me. But I still like it, so I'll get back to it soon.

In the meantime I put it down to knit a February Baby Sweater, and promptly forgot to put button holes in it. Doh! It's nearly done, though, and photos will follow. But for now, here are some socks I finished a while ago.

Undulating Rib Socks from Favourite Socks. I think these are going to hold a lot of memories for me. I started them as something to knit on the tube during my first LPC exams, then they accompanied me to a couple of job interview (including the successful one) and I finished them, and wore them a lot, during my final exams.

The yarn is Kaffe Fassett for Regia, and I realised that the colours also perfectly match my Company Law exam notes (which I haven't photographed - I don't want to look at them again)!

These next ones are the Merino Lace Socks from the same book. It's Regia yarn again, which my brother gave me for Christmas (well done him).

I looooove semi-solid sock yarns, and this one is no exception. I can't wait for autumn so I can wear these again.
